A Comet Appears

This is how I choose to remember it

Robots are taking over!

Here’s a funny link, it’s a map of where Ludacris supposedly has hoes (is it “hoes”? or “hos”? or “hose”?????).

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping recently. Actually, ever since I started working nights. I usually try to sleep around midnight but I just lay in bed for a long time thinking about stuff. Mainly, I’ve been thinking about what to do next with this job of mine. I think TV is my future but production technicians are soon to be a memory once my station as well as others go with automation. Robots are taking over! I can edit, write, and shoot; I can be a photojournalist or a writer/producer. There are more opportunities than those but right now I’m thinking about how I can branch out from where I am. It seems like I’m taking the scenic route to my goal which really bothers me because I think I know where I want to go but there are all these steps to take so I know for sure where I want to go but I don’t have the patience.

Last night I dreamt that I was walking toward the ocean and I saw what looked like gigantic ghosts made of smoke. The smoke turned out to be exhaust from helicopters. The helicopters were surging towards me… “what’s the rush?” I thought to myself. I turned around to see what they were racing towards and saw a missile heading for me… “Shit.” I ran forward and dove to avoid its impact; I looked back to see the missile hit the grown and explode. The collision caused the earth to tremble and send shock waves toward me, I tried to get up but the vibration was overwhelming. I’m not sure what happened next; I’ll assume that I’d gone unconscious. I awoke from my blackout, I somehow survived, and began rushing in the direction the helicopters had been previously traveling to join their fight.

That’s all I remember. I usually have pretty action-packed dreams as opposed to my sometimes dull life.
